23 - New AAS website

Posted on March 21, 2007

There's a new look to the website for the Association for Asian Studies.

It's much more visually attractive; it's easier to use; and it seems to have more information than before.  Also there are parts where members can log in. Members received a notice in the mail the week of March 12 with instructions on how to do this.

This new format makes it easier for users to see the structure of the organization, to learn who's who, and to find out what's what.

The Annual Meeting is happening now in Boston.  If you aren't there, you can scan the Southeast Panels to find out what you are missing.  If you want to plan to be there next time, you can click here to get the facts on the conference next spring, such as the deadline for proposals (August 17, which is later than in past years).
